It is time for another row of my Row Along, this is a Shoo Fly block and here is a photo of the completed row.
Once again HST's (half square triangles) along with squares creates the block. And again if you need to a refresher on creating your HST's refer to the Row 1 post, you can find it here.
The fabric requirements for Row 3 are as follows:
Color A 1 strip 4 7/8" x WOF subcut into 8 4 7/8" squares
Color B 1 strip 4 7/8" x WOF subcut into 8 4 7/8" squares
2 strips 4 1/2" x WOF subcut into 16 4 1/2" squares
Color C 1 strip 4 1/2" x WOF subcut into 4 4 1/2" squares
For each individual block you will need:
Color A 2 4 7/8" squares
Color B 2 4 7/8" squares
4 4 1/2" squares
Color C 1 4 1/2" square
After constructing your 4 HST's arrange the 9 squares in this order:
Sew the 4 blocks together like this:
and sew the 4 together to create Row 3.
Only 2 more rows to go.
Hope you are enjoying this Row Along journey.
I've made row three but need to go back and make row two. Having fun making the rows with you.
